Landfill

Landfills are an important part of Australia’s waste management infrastructure.

Australia’s approach to Landfill and Waste management has seen significant improvements in recent years. Today’s landfills are engineered, constructed and operated in accordance with detailed guidelines to ensure the protection of the surrounding environment.

Historically, landfills required the construction of an impermeable compacted clay liner to create a barrier between the ground and the contained waste. With the advancement in geosynthetic material technologies, we now see geosynthetics being incorporated into landfill design to complement our traditional approaches.

A typical landfill design may utilize but not be limited to:

  • Geosynthetic Clay Liners

  • Geonets

  • Geogrids

  • Geotextiles

  • Geomembranes

DDT Liners specializes in the supply and installation of a full range of geosynthetic products for the landfill sector. DDT  Liners has been installing geosynthetic products since the mid 90’s and are proud to have been able to provide our unique services to assist with the protection of the environment.
